College – NSCC Applied Research for your kind words and ongoing support! We are
deeply honored to have been awarded one of the 2024 Naval Technology Innovation
Challenges presented by COVE and Thales Defence Canada.
Our collaborative efforts to address blue-green algae in
Nova Scotia’s freshwater ecosystems have been both challenging and rewarding,
and we eagerly anticipate the next phase of this project. The comprehensive
water sampling and analysis conducted in partnership with NSCC and the
Shubenacadie Watershed Environmental Protection Society have been pivotal in
advancing our understanding and developing effective solutions for this
pressing issue.
We are equally excited to continue our partnership with the
NSCC team, including Joanne Firth, Mo (Mohamed) Shamma, and Dr. Etienne
Mfoumou. Your unwavering support is invaluable as we strive to make significant
contributions to environmental protection and technological advancement.
