We’re excited to announce the successful completion of a key phase of our Tier 2 PIVP project with Nova Scotia Community College – NSCC , supported by Invest Nova Scotia.
Hexsor Scientific’s participation in the Productivity and Innovation Voucher Program (PIVP) has been instrumental in turning advanced environmental sensing research into real-world solutions. Through the program, we designed, built, and validated an AI-enabled, real-time water quality monitoring system tailored to local environmental and operational needs – demonstrating how applied research can move rapidly from concept to deployment. The NSCC team provided robust technical validation, proving reliable and secure data transmission under real-world outdoor conditions. This milestone lays the foundation for scalable, autonomous environmental monitoring.
Building on our Tier 1 success, we are now integrating our sensing platform with Aqualight™, our AI-powered visualization and remote sensing tool. By combining in-situ molecular data with real-time analytics, we can detect algal blooms, oil spills, and other ecological anomalies early, supporting partners across municipal, aquaculture, and community initiatives.
