Our client, renowned for their fully automated algae growth optimization services, serves a diverse range of biotechnology stakeholders—from algae producers to researchers. Their sophisticated smart photobioreactor is specifically designed for algae strain development, enabling rapid testing in controlled environments. Eager to enhance their offering with ultra-accurate monitoring capabilities, they approached Hexsor to develop a bespoke sensor solution.

A Fruitful Collaboration Begins
Last week, members of the Hexsor Team traveled from our Liverpool base to Scotland to meet face-to-face with our client and kick off the commissioning of our OEM solution for their photobioreactor project. During our visit, we received a personal tour of their impressive lab space and gained a deeper understanding of the project and their future plans.
