HEXSOR AT THE 7TH CII WATER INNOVATION SUMMIT

With Hexsor having spent much of 2021 building its reputation in the Indian market, it has closed the year with an invited address to the 7th Confederation of Indian Industry Water Innovation Summit.

Speaking on the first day of the summit, Hexsor’s Business Development Manager, Dr David Smith, delivered the opening address on climate change and water security to experts from the International Water Management Institute, the Indian National Water Policy Committee, and the Indian Meteorological Department, and an audience of more than 500 water ecosystem stakeholders.

Detailing Hexsor’s priorities for building a resilient, sustainable, and equitable global water ecosystem capable of withstanding climate change induced threats to supply and safety going forward, Dr Smith also introduced those in attendance to some of our past and present flagship projects, all of which have been targeted toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

“Despite the more than five-hour time difference demanding an earlier than usual start, it was an honour and a privilege to be invited to introduce our activities and our solutions to such a large and knowledgeable audience” noted Dr Smith. “It is clear from discussions held at this event, and from others that we have enjoyed over the past year, that India stands at a threshold of reform and innovation across its water sector which promises significant impacts on its ability to manage and deliver a safe and sustainable supply to its citizens. It is our sincere hope at Hexsor that we are able to deliver our technologies to support the country in achieving its aims”.
