GREECE NEVER DISAPPOINTS — EFCHARISTÓ!

From the people and culture to the innovation ecosystem and research community, this visit once again highlighted why Greece continues to be such an exciting region for collaboration, technology deployment, and long-term partnerships.

The last few days have been intense but incredibly rewarding for the Hexsor UK team from Hexsor Scientific Limited. Following commissioning activities and technical training sessions delivered for our client in the region, it was fantastic to hear such positive feedback and see the confidence built through the work delivered. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing trust, satisfaction, and confidence after a demanding technical deployment and training programme.

The feedback received has been exceptional, and we are extremely pleased to be working with such an outstanding team. Once again, we delivered successfully and to a high standard.

Client feedback

One piece of feedback that particularly meant a lot to us was:

“Hexsor Scientific demonstrated a high level of professionalism and technical expertise during the commissioning process. Their team was efficient, responsive, and ensured the system was successfully deployed and operational. We particularly appreciated their collaborative approach and willingness to adapt to our requirements. We see strong potential for future collaboration in areas of mutual interest.”

Strengthening collaboration across Greece’s innovation ecosystem

Alongside the commissioning work, this trip also provided an excellent opportunity to engage with leading organisations across Greece to explore future collaboration opportunities in environmental sensing, marine technologies, sustainability, and innovation programmes.

We had productive discussions with:

  • National Technical University of Athens
  • EPLO European Public Law Organization
  • NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”

These discussions explored opportunities for co-developing innovative sensing and monitoring solutions, collaborative R&D activities, pilot deployments, and future consortium-building initiatives within the region.

MoU and future collaboration pathways

We were also delighted to begin discussions around establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a key regional stakeholder to support the deployment and development of Hexsor technology solutions. This represents another important step towards expanding international partnerships and collaborative innovation activities across Europe.

A challenging schedule — softened by Greek hospitality

Despite the packed schedule, one constant challenge was that the weather was simply too good to stay indoors. Greece, as always, combined technical engagement with an atmosphere that made every discussion feel more open, human, and forward-looking.

A huge thank you to everyone we met during this visit for the warm hospitality, engaging discussions, and shared enthusiasm for innovation and collaboration.

Exciting times ahead, and we look forward to sharing more updates soon.
