Hexsor Scientific is an advanced manufacturing SME headquartered in Liverpool, UK, with an R&D presence in Nova Scotia, Canada.
We develop IoT-enabled analytical systems for real-time monitoring of liquids, gases, and environmental conditions, serving a wide range of sectors including environmental monitoring, industrial processes, defence and security, mining, and space applications.
Our expertise integrates spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, portable eDNA sampling, and advanced sensing technologies to detect contaminants, pollutants, and chemical threats with high precision.

Dr Jeyan Sreekumar

Dr Jeyan Sreekumar is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in advanced analytical instruments, project management, and application development for gas, liquid, and soil detection systems. He has been instrumental in developing and commercializing cutting-edge research tools and reagents for life science research.

Before founding Hexsor Scientific, Dr Sreekumar worked as a Scientist and Product Innovation & Technology Specialist, earning accolades from the University of Liverpool, Innovate UK, Liverpool Chamber, The Manufacturer, COVE, Thales, and more for his exceptional contributions. With patents granted and scientific publications authored or co-authored, he has established himself as a thought leader in the field.

Dr Sreekumar's research pursuits encompass a wide spectrum including air, water, and soil quality, environmental risks, medical advancements, and homeland security. His passion for creating innovative instruments and approaches that contribute positively to society is evident in the achievements of Hexsor Scientific across Canada and the UK. As the CEO/President, he persists in guiding Hexsor toward elevated achievements, securing its position as a leader in scientific innovation.
