ADVANCING NAVAL INNOVATION THROUGH COLLABORATION

We’re delighted to see the video released by Thales Canada and COVE highlighting the Naval Technology Innovation Challenges — an inspiring initiative that empowers start-ups and SMEs to co-develop cutting-edge solutions for the Royal Canadian Navy | Marine royale canadienne.

Through this program, Hexsor Scientific had the opportunity to contribute breakthrough sensing technologies that strengthen Canada’s maritime capabilities and drive real-world naval innovation.

Headquartered in Liverpool, UK, Hexsor Scientific is an award-winning SME specializing in portable and inline smart sensing systems for water, air, soil, and marine environments. Supported by Innovate UK’s Global Incubation Mission, we established our Canadian operations in Nova Scotia, bridging the UK and Canadian innovation ecosystems to advance sustainable technology development.

We deeply value our collaboration with the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) — engaging students and graduates in applied research and real-world problem-solving that fuels innovation and skill development across the region. Our recent deployments highlight how dual-use sensing technologies can enhance operational readiness while promoting environmental sustainability.

We look forward to building on this momentum through new collaborations that advance sustainable technological progress and deliver meaningful impact across defence, environmental, and maritime sectors.
